This year marks the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army in the Long March. The “Long March Song” has once again been invited to various stages of art and literature. While appreciating this popular red classics, people also revisited the tragic and honorable history of the revolutionary predecessors. This summer, I visited Mr. Tang Ha, one of the songwriters of “Long March Group Songs”, in a quiet military retreat in Qingdao. Tang Lao, who is nearly eighty years old, introduced me in detail to the “Long March Song ”The creative process. In 1965, in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army’s Long March, General Xiao Hua, then director of the General Political Department of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, wrote an immortal poem entitled “The Red Army is Not afraid of Expeditionary Difficulties.” Comrade Xiao Hua is an old Red Army who participated in the Long March
