Objective To analyze the influence of drinking tea on the risk of cerebral infarction. Methods A prospective cohort study was conducted with 96,604 (76,864 males and 19,740 females) as observation cohorts. According to the frequency of drinking tea in the 2006-2008 health questionnaire, no drinking, occasional drinking and regular drinking A total of three groups of tea, with a mean follow-up of 4.02 years, using Cox risk proportional regression model analysis of tea drinking frequency of the impact of cerebral infarction. Results (1) The cumulative incidence of cerebral infarction in never drinking tea, occasionally drinking tea and regular drinking tea group was 1.517% (868/65 223), 0.852% (163/22 869), 1.998% (143/8 512 ), The difference was statistically significant (χ2 = 69.560, P = 0.000). (2) Multivariate Cox risk proportional regression model showed that the risk of cerebral infarction in each tea-drinking group was significantly higher than that of the control group % CI) were 1.000, 0.713 (0.597-0.852) and 0.986 (0.814-1.193), respectively. Conclusion This study found that moderate drinking tea can reduce the risk of cerebral infarction.
