语言与文化彼此依存,密不可分,语言既凝聚了文化的主要成果,反映着民族的文化,又依托着丰富的文化土壤,离不开它赖以生存的社会环境。《英语课程标准》指出,英语教学要重视中西方的文化差异,让学生了解所学语言国家的历史地理、风俗习惯、生活方式、行为规范、文化艺术、价值观念,提升学生的文化素养。然而,受应试教育的影响,教师对考分的追逐乐此不疲,重视对学生基础知识和语言的培养,而对学生的文化教育视而不见,致使学生的文化意识淡漠。笔者基于人文的视角,从以下几方面探索初中英语教育的文化价值。一、研读教材探索文化资源经济的高速发展,“快餐文化”的盛行,人变得愈来愈浮躁。教师要深入文
Language and culture are interdependent and inseparable. Language not only integrates the major achievements of culture, but also reflects the culture of the nation, relying on the abundant cultural soil and the social environment in which it depends. The English Curriculum Standard states that English teaching should pay attention to the cultural differences between China and the West so that students can understand the historical geography, customs, lifestyles, codes of conduct, culture and arts, and values of the language learners and enhance students’ cultural attainments. However, under the influence of exam-oriented education, teachers chanted their marks at exams and attached great importance to the cultivation of students’ basic knowledge and language. However, they turned a blind eye to students’ cultural education and made the students’ cultural awareness indifferent. Based on the humanities perspective, the author explores the cultural value of junior high school English education from the following aspects.
