In mid-bridge and bridge construction, the widespread adoption of fabricated bridges has created the need for erecting machines that do not use scaffolding because setting up scaffolding is a cumbersome and costly task. Therefore, four engineers, P.B. Bragorasamov, B. A. Dobryak, D. Shasiri and C. B. Connorov, proposed a novel machine, a steel bridge erecting machine. With this erecting machine, the girder of the prefabricated RC bridge can be placed on the abutment without the use of trestle, skid and any auxiliary scaffolding.
