在社会主义市场经济体制的建立过程中,公共图书馆事业的发展面临着许多新问题。整体功能下降,读者急剧减少,文献资源建设危机不断,这与八十年代中末期的兴旺景象形成了反差。造成现今公共图书馆举步维艰的原因是多方面的,需要作具体的分析。立足于现实,从强化读者服务工作入手,切实提高公共图书馆的管理水平,制定可行性、操作性强的文献资源建设方案,并围绕落实狠下功夫,这是公共图书馆顺应形势变化,走自我发展之路的客观基础。
In the process of establishing socialist market economy, the development of public libraries faces many new problems.
