沉睡了两千多年的秦陵兵马俑,自从一九七四年春天由于农民打井的偶然机缘得以问世以来,风靡全球。 十多年来,一些外国政府首脑竞相来访;数支秦俑“小分队”巡游全国,“远征”海外。很少有哪个出土文物能象兵马俑这样产生这么大的震动和影响。外国学者评论它是“自北京猿人出土以来的中国考古界最为壮观的发现”。
Sleeping for more than 2,000 years of the Qinling Terracotta Warriors and Horses has swept the world since the advent of the occasional opportunity for farmers to dig wells in the spring of 1974. For more than a decade, some heads of foreign governments vied with each other. Several “Territorial Detachments of Terracotta warriors and horses” parade across the country and “expeditioned” overseas. Few unearthed cultural relics can produce such a big shock and impact as terracotta warriors and horses. Foreign scholars commented that it is “the most spectacular discovery of Chinese archeology since Peking Man unearthed.”
