不久前,一个关于“信息时代与数字化生存”的研讨会在瀛海威信息通信有限责任公司举行。在此之前,一位美籍希腊人尼葛洛庞帝写的一本叫作《数字化生存》(BEING DIGITAL)的中译本在中国大陆走红,这本讨论电脑技术的书籍打进了各个媒介的畅销书榜,印数已经超过5万。这次研讨会的起因正是这本书。中国人民大学信息学院的院长陈禹教授也是这次研讨会的嘉宾之一。在人们普遍推崇数字技术的今天,他关于数字技术与模拟技术二者不可偏废的一席发言十分引人注意。会后,我采访了他和他的同事方美琪教授,我想,他们一定还有一些话在会上没有说完。话题仍然是从《数字化生存》这本书谈起。
