1992年11月2～7日,在福建省漳州市召开了中澳林业合作项目国际研讨会。来自中国、澳大利亚、巴西、新西兰、泰国、越南、老挝、菲律宾8国和世界银行、联合国粮农组织的80多位专家学者参加了大会。澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究组织、中国林业部、林科院、福建省、漳州市等有关领导出席大会并讲了话。大会对澳大利亚国际农业研究中心资助的中澳林业合作项目第一期8457、8458、8736和第二期8848、8849、9044六年来的科研工作进行了总结、学术交流和研讨。会议宣读论文34篇,内容涉及从澳大利亚引种的桉树、木麻黄、相思
From November 2 to November 7, 1992, an international symposium on Sino-Australian forestry cooperation was held in Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. More than 80 experts and scholars from China, Australia, Brazil, New Zealand, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Philippines and the World Bank and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization participated in the conference. Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, the Chinese Ministry of Forestry, Academy of Forestry, Fujian Province, Zhangzhou City and other relevant leaders attended the meeting and made their speeches. The conference summarized the academic research work conducted during the six years between the first phase of China-Australia Forestry Cooperation Project funded by the International Agricultural Research Center of Australia and the second phase of 8848, 8849 and 9044 academic exchanges and discussions.
