2005年,是中国零售业完全放开的第一年。从今年起,中国零售业进入了一个新的发展时期:WTO“后过渡期”。这标志着中国零售业在经过12年的对外开放试点之后,进入了一个全面竞争的新时代。分析WTO后过渡期外资零售商在华运营态势及其发展趋势,从而有针对性地采取应对策略,增强民族零售业的竞争实力,既是内资零售企业所面临的一个迫切任务,又是政府主管部门的必须予以高度关注的课题。一、外资零售商在华运营的根本动力:
In 2005, it was the first year in which China’s retail industry was completely liberalized. Starting from this year, China’s retail industry has entered a new period of development: WTO “post-transition period ”. This marks the beginning of a 12-year pilot program for China’s retail industry to enter a new era of full competition. After analyzing the operating situation and development trend of foreign retailers in China in the post-transition period of WTO, it is not only an urgent task for domestic-funded retailers but also a competent government department to deal with them strategically and to enhance their competitive power.
