近年来,我县甘薯亩产一直停留在1500公斤左右,其主要原因是施肥少,配比不合理,为探讨钾肥在甘薯上的增产效果,1987年进行试验,结果增施钾肥,对提高甘薯产量有显著效果。一、增产效果。试验田为中等地力,分四个处理①亩施(P_2O_5)3公斤,(K_2O)3公斤;②亩施(P_2O_5)3公斤;③亩施(k_2O)3公斤;④不施磷钾肥做对照。结果,单产以磷钾肥混施的最高,亩产鲜薯2213公斤,比对照增产36.6%;单施钾肥的亩产2126.5公斤,增产31.3%;单施磷肥的增产27.6%,由此看出,钾肥增产效果极显著。施钾肥的叶色浓绿,叶片厚,营养生长和生殖生长协调,块根膨大快。
