Shanghai Boiler Research Institute held a symposium on sulfuric acid dew point corrosion resistant steel for power station boiler air preheater in Shanghai from May 5 to May 1979. The meeting was attended by 25 representatives from the Ministry of Metallurgy, the Ministry of Electric Power and a unit belonging to 15 units. At the meeting, Wuhan Iron and Steel Institute introduced the sulfuric acid dew point corrosion 09Cu steel trial production, and its use in the air preheater; Beijing Electric Power, Beijing Thermal Power Plant, introduced 09Cu steel corrosion test conditions; all relevant Boilers and power plants introduced air preheater steel and corrosion situation
