吉迪丝女士是国际知名的儿童摄影家,她在新西兰的商业城市奥克兰开办了专给儿童拍摄照片的摄影厅。她的儿童摄影有一种独特的风格,她以丰富的想像力和高超的技艺,把孩子们拍摄成可爱的小花朵、小蔬果、小昆虫、小动物、小仙子,五花八门,妙趣横生。她的作品受到了人们普遍的重视和欢迎。吉迪丝的拍摄方法基本上是两大类,一类是特制出一些较大的道具、如蘑菇、橡果之类与孩子搭配起来拍摄,像《羽翼未丰》等作品。另一类是利用电脑合成,因为不可能做出比孩子还大的花朵,即便做出来也承受不住这么重的分量。
Ms. Gidis is an internationally acclaimed child photographer, who opened a photo studio in Auckland, the commercial city of New Zealand, that specializes in taking pictures of children. Her children’s photography has a unique style. With her rich imagination and superb skills, her children are photographed with cute little flowers, small fruits and vegetables, small insects, small animals and fairies, all kinds of fun. Her work has received the universal attention and welcome. Giddles shooting method is basically two categories, one is specially tailored some of the larger props, such as mushrooms, acorns and children with the filming, like “fledgling” and other works. The other is the use of computer synthesis, because it is impossible to make flowers larger than the children, even if it can not bear such a heavy weight.
