按照以往的阅读经验,一本名为《仰望昆仑》的诗集,大体上会以高峻的、开阔的、深远的、明灿的笔调,素描或者雕刻人在世界屋脊的感受和感悟。魏彦烈的诗歌并非如此,他并没有因为人在昆仑,而将琐碎卑微的生活经验弃置一旁,去专注地讨论地理的、历史的、哲学的、宗教的种种核质对于人的影响和引导。魏彦烈的诗歌,大多以一个平凡的人的视角,呈现各种生活场景,表达一个自内地而入高原的人对故土魂牵梦绕的牵挂;呈现面对昆仑和巴塘草原雪域异质文化样态时一个外乡人眼里的风景和触动。他的诗歌就事论事,即景说景,
