“减轻学生负担,提高教学效率”是当前中小学实行素质教育的一个重要话题。作为一名农村英语教师,深感提高农村初中英语教学质量这一任务的艰巨。首先,我们的学生不能很好地适应新课程标准的教学要求,普遍存在以下问题:1.学生语音语调意识淡薄,口头表达能力不强;2.词汇量小,运用音标拼读单词能力弱;3.语法错误率高,导致语言表达受限;4.缺乏对英语国家文化知识背景的基本了解;5.英语不是母语,学生对此存有畏惧心理。这就给我们在教学过程中
“To reduce the burden on students, improve teaching efficiency ” is an important topic of quality education in primary and secondary schools. As a rural English teacher, it is arduous task to improve English teaching quality in junior middle school in rural areas. First of all, our students can not adapt well to the teaching requirements of the new curriculum standards, and generally have the following problems: (1) Students have a weak awareness of phonetic intonation and weak verbal ability; (2) They have a small vocabulary and weak phonetic spelling; 3. The high grammatical error rate, resulting in limited language expression; 4. Lack of a basic understanding of the cultural background of English-speaking countries; 5. English is not the native language, students are fearful. This gives us the teaching process
