The Mianlue tectonic belt in southem Qinling Moutains is remainders of an anceint oceanic basin. Thisoceanic basin was at least 1000 km wide. It was widely opening during Late Devonian-EarlyCarboniferous. In thia paper the existence and size of the oceanic basin are further argued by using newdata and reexplaining previous data.
