上海瑞金洲际酒店的前身是英国商人本杰明·马立斯家族修建的私人花园别墅。经过多年的精心修缮,洲际酒店集团成功再现了这一地标性建筑的壮丽和威严,使其迷人的英国古典建筑的神韵得以重现。近日,坐落于洲际主楼旁的一栋红砖西洋老楼中的馨源楼中餐厅全新开幕。馨源楼建于1920年,由彼时三井洋行自马立斯家族手中购置而建,也是以日式花园美景轰动一时的“三井花园”原址,设计借鉴意大利文艺复兴建筑特色,糅合了法式建筑风格,建筑外立面以红砖砌筑,典雅之余亦彰

Recently, located in the inter-continental main building next to a red brick Western old building in the Xin Yuan Lou restaurant opened. Built in 1920, Hsinyuanlou was built by the well-known Mitsui Fushimi family from the hands of the Maris family. It is also the original site of the “Mitsui Garden”, a sensational Japanese-style garden with a view to drawing on the architectural features of the Italian Renaissance architecture.
