为了推进统计改革,发挥统计信息、咨询和监督整体功能,保证统计工作的顺利进行,8月下旬,晋城市人民政府下达“晋市政发(1995)66号”文件《关于整顿和加强全市统计工作的决定》。其主要内容:一是提高对统计工作的认识,加强对统计工作的领导;二是加强统计法制建设,维护统计数据的真实性;三是加强统计队伍建设,提高统计队员素质;四是加强业务基础建设,规范统计报表行为;五是加强统计数据管理,提高统计服务水平;六是加强信息现代化建设。
