我国80年代初引进“构成”教学体系后,图案教育渐成颓势,中间虽有老教育家和少数年轻学者的呼吁,但未形成大气候,高职院校对“构成”的依赖与重视和对“图案”的孤立与冷落形成鲜明对比。图案教学越来越走向程式化,重新认识图案理论,在教学中加强中国传统图案教学,扭转当下图案所面临的冷漠,使之为培养“技能型人才”服务,从而满足实践和发展的需要是非常有必要的。
