“握手”是报纸经常见到的情景。国家领导人与外国政要握手,一般属于例行的礼节、仪式,编辑见得实在太多。可握手也不能完全等同视之。2003年12月1日是第16个“世界艾滋病日”。这一天,温家宝总理等中央领导来到北京地坛医院看望艾滋病患者,“与3名艾滋病患者一一握了手,并肩坐在一起攀谈……”这个握手却有非同寻常的意义,新华社发了这张照片。
