确定“隐形”这个议题尽管只有十年时间,但它已成为美国空军当代最大研制计划——先进技术轰炸机(ATB)的主要课题,其重要性仅略次于先进战术歼击机(ATF)计划。第一种现代隐形飞机——洛克希德公司的F-19侦察/攻击歼击机,据信已经服役,隐形巡航导弹也在为美国空军和海军研制之中。美国在隐形计划上所进行的工作,绝大部分是“漆黑的”,即是说,在大多数情况下美国政府对隐形飞机的存在不作公开评论。
Although it has only been a decade since it was established, the topic of Invisibility has become a major issue for the U.S. Air Force’s largest contemporary development program, the Advanced Technology Bombers (ATB), which is only slightly behind the Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) program. The first modern stealth aircraft, Lockheed F-19 reconnaissance / attack fighter aircraft, is believed to be in service and stealth cruise missiles are being developed for the U.S. Air Force and Navy. Most of the work that the United States does on stealth projects is “dark”, that is, in most cases, the U.S. government does not make public comments on the existence of invisible planes.
