无产阶级文化大革命以来,我们先后育成了忻黄单9、17、22、38、39、40、43号等一批玉米杂交种。这些杂交种在全国广泛种植,据不完全统计,推广面积达1,200万亩以上。1973年山西省良种评委会将忻黄单9、43、39号,分别命名为晋单3号、晋单5号、晋单9号。现将晋单5、9号两个杂交种简介如下:一、品种来源:晋单5号和晋单9号是我所于1970年分别用525和风301作母本,金0—3作父本杂交选育而成的杂交种。二、特征特性:这两个杂交种均为中晚熟品种,在我地春播生育期130天左右,本省南部夏播105天
