临夏回族自治州和甘南藏族自治州是甘肃省两个最大的少数民族全民信教地区。建国以来,特别是党的十一届三中全会以来,随着社会主义现代化建设和改革开放的全面展开,党的民族宗教政策不断得到调整、完善和正确地贯彻执行,有力地促进了这两个少数民族地区经济文化的发展,同时也为正确地认识和处理现阶段宗教与少数民族地区经济文化发展的关系,社会主义现代化建设和改革开放与宗教的协调融合等问题,进行了初步而深刻的有益探索,提供了比较丰富的实践经验。
Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture and Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture are the two largest ethnic minority religious beliefs in Gansu Province.
