诗,在中国文化中的意义不言而喻。每一位诗人,都将胸中激荡的特殊情怀挥洒于笔墨之间,并赋予诗生命的意义。诗,是诗人对人生的感悟,对万物的惊叹,对生命的颂赞。马一浮一生可谓以诗为乐、与诗为伴,其足迹所至必有其提笔挥洒之处,自然“诗”便成为承载其毕生之思想的重要形式,而其诗之精华应于“以诗为教”的人生哲学处体现。“以诗为教”抑或“以教融诗”是马一浮对儒家文化中“教化”的具体阐释。
