武汉市地处长江与汉水交汇处,市内湖泊星罗棋布,素有“百湖之市”的美誉,曾经因水而优!然而,随着经济的发展,人类活动对湖泊的影响日益加剧。上世纪80年代至90年代初,为顺应改革开放,增加经济效益的需要,群众自发性的围湖养殖发展水产,导致湖里水草逐渐消失,湖泊自净功能退化。
