The inference of the primary halo for the presence of iodine and bromine in endogenic metallogenic deposits was proposed by Н.И.Сафроновый (1962). These primary haloes were first identified in the hydrothermal deposits in Armenia (Лапп and Судов, 1963). These studies provide an argument for the involvement of iodine and bromine in endogenic mineralization, demonstrating that iodine and bromine have a strong migration potential in primary halo and have good results in the search for deep buried deposits. Later on, the primary halo of iodine was identified and studied in more than 100 metallogenic deposits in the Soviet Union. The primary halo of bromine was identified and studied in more than 20 metallogenic deposits of different composition, age and formation temperature (Миллер, 1968; Барданян, 1972; Судов, 1979; Трофимов and Рычков, 1979; etc.). In all cases, iodine and bromine are native
