In the northern western part of the Canadian Shield, a metal geochemical survey of the lake sediments was conducted with a mesh size of 5 km to 2 and a regional geochemical map of 97,000 km 2 was made. The figure shows three global geochemical characteristics: (1) Large refractory and pro-Cu anomalous bands associated with the Proterozoic volcano-plutonic belt associated with the Andin arc, (2) Ba values significantly increased on known pre-Cambrian sutures (3) ) Is associated with a large refractory and pro-copper anomalous band associated with the Archean greenstone belt closest to the hypothetical suture.
