随着英语教学改革的发展和研究的深入,人们越来越认识到,情感在英语阅读教学中的重要地位。英语学习好坏不能单从认知方面寻找原因,还得从情感方面进行深入分析。著名外语教学专家H.H.Stern说过,情感对外语学习的作用至少与认知技能同等重要,甚至更重要些。因此,重视把情感因素引入阅读教学,突出和强调情感因素在英语教学中的地位和作用,是当前英语阅读教学改革的一大基本走向。
With the development of English teaching reform and further research, people are more and more aware of the importance of emotion in English reading teaching. English learning is not good or bad from the cognitive aspects of looking for reasons, but also from the emotional aspects of in-depth analysis. Well-known foreign language teaching expert H. H. Stern has said that the effect of emotion on foreign language learning is at least as important as, or even more important than, cognitive skills. Therefore, paying attention to introducing affective factors into reading teaching, highlighting and emphasizing the status and function of affective factors in English teaching is one of the basic trends in current English reading teaching reform.
