我国住宅建设正处于大发展时期。城镇住宅竣工量在“八五”稳步增长的基础上，“九五”第一年又开了一个好头，1996年达到3亿平方米左右。可以说，到Z000年完成城镇人均使用面积12～14平方米的任务，困难不大。但是从质量上看，我国住宅建设的综合水平还比较低，存在着不少问题
China’s housing construction is in a period of great development. The number of urban residential buildings completed on the basis of the steady growth of the “Eighth Five-Year Plan”. In the first year of the “Ninth Five-Year Plan”, a good start was made. In 1996, it reached about 300 million square meters. It can be said that the task of using 12 to 14 square meters of urban area per capita by the end of the year in the town of Z000 is not difficult. However, from a qualitative point of view, the comprehensive level of housing construction in our country is still relatively low and there are many problems.
