委婉语,是一种修辞手法,也是一种社会文化现象,是人们在一定的语境中选择语言文字的结果,使交际双方能顺利地进行沟通。在倡导建设和谐社会的今天,新闻报道中的委婉表达更是不胜枚举。从内涵外延传承的角度分析了新闻报道中的委婉语。
Euphemism is a rhetorical device and a socio-cultural phenomenon. It is the result of people’s choice of language in a certain context so that both parties in communication can communicate with each other smoothly. In today’s advocacy of building a harmonious society, the euphemism in news reports is even more numerous. From the perspective of connotation extension inheritance, the euphemism in news reports is analyzed.
