党的十六大报告中指出:“与时俱进,就是党的全部理论工作要体现时代性,把握规律性,富于创造性。我们党能否始终做到这一点,决定着中国的发展前途和命运。”这一重要论断对什么是与时俱进、如何做到与时俱进作了精辟论述。贯彻落实十六大精神和“三个代表”重要思想,中纪委二次全会专门把与时俱进作为会议的一个重要主题明确地提了出来,这对在新的历史条件下如何开展纪检监察工作具有重要的指导意义。
