《当代人》杂志由河北省文联主管、主办。1949年创刊,从《河北文艺》《小荷》《蜜蜂》《河北文学》,历经68年风雨辉煌,为河北省培养了几代作家、诗人,刊发了梁斌的《红旗谱》、刘流的《烈火金钢》、管桦的《小英雄雨来》、徐光耀的《小兵张嘎》、贾大山的《取经》、铁凝的《夜路》等重要作品。是河北资深的主流文化媒体、是河北省文学艺术界对外交流的窗口与平台。国内统一刊号CN13-1161/I,邮发代号:18-39,每月6日出版,全年定价180元(含邮资),邮发与自办发行结合。
