1957年4月生于江苏省镇江市。1969年,下放到江苏丹阳农村。1973年,迁入丹阳县城,入省立丹阳中学。1981年,考入四川美术学院。1985年,毕业于四川美术学院,同年分配至镇江市文联。1990至1992年,入中国艺术研究院研读中国美术史硕士课程。1992年,回镇江文联工作。2001年,中国艺术研究院第二届中国画名家班毕业。2001年,移居北京,现为独立画家,兼任镇江市美术家协会主席、江苏省美术家协会理事。2005年,被聘为中国艺术研究院教授、“陈绶祥艺术教育工作室教授”。
1957 April was born in Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province. In 1969, decentralized to Danyang, Jiangsu Province. In 1973, moved to Danyang County, into the provincial Danyang Middle School. In 1981, admitted to Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. In 1985, graduated from the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, the same year assigned to Zhenjiang City Federation of Literary and Art Circles. From 1990 to 1992, he joined China Art Academy as a master of Chinese art history. In 1992, back to Zhenjiang literary work. In 2001, the second Chinese Academy of Art graduated from masters in Chinese painting. In 2001, he moved to Beijing and is currently an independent painter. He is also the chairman of the Association of Artists in Zhenjiang and the director of Jiangsu Artists Association. In 2005, was hired as a professor of Chinese Academy of Arts, “Chen Shuxiang art education studio professor.”
