海洋潮汐和近代海平面变化在大地测量、地球物理研究及海洋经济开发方面具有重要意义。为促进这方面课题的国内外学术交流,提高研究水平,1986年11月13—15日,我国有关海洋科研工作者聚会天津,成立了潮汐与海平面研究委员会,并召开了第一次学术讨论会。 中国科学院和国家海洋局以及高等院校、水产、水利、交通、海军等有关部门27个单位的40名代表出席了会议。会议讨论通过了“潮汐与海平面研究委员会章程”,推选产生了委员会。委员会主任为郑文振高级工程师,副主任委员为陈宗镛教授和方国洪研究员,奚智祥工程师为秘书长。会议决定本研究委员会挂靠国家海洋局科技情报研究所。
Ocean tides and modern sea level changes are of great significance in geodesy, geophysical research and marine economic development. In order to promote academic exchanges at home and abroad and raise the level of research in this area, from November 13 to November 15, 1986, a group of marine scientific researchers in China gathered in Tianjin to set up a tidal and sea level research committee and hold the first academic discussion meeting. 40 representatives from 27 units of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the State Oceanic Administration as well as institutions of higher learning, aquatic products, water conservancy, transportation, navy and other relevant departments attended the meeting. The meeting discussed and approved the Tide and Sea Level Research Council Charter and elected the committee. The chairman of the committee is Zheng Wenzhen, a senior engineer and the vice chairman is Professor Chen Zongtao and Fang Guohong, and Xi Zhi Xiang is the secretary general. The meeting decided that the research committee linked to the State Oceanic Administration Institute of Scientific and Technical Information.
