足球改革推动中国的足球运动已进入了一个新的阶段。初步进入了市场,初步摸索到了一点经验,初步见到了一点成效。 成效的取得,应归功于国家体委领导的信任。把足球作为改革突破口;应归功于社会各界的支持,尤其像广东健力宝集团公司这样的企业的支持。没有这些支持,我们的绿茵计划、跨世纪工程、送队伍赴巴西学习可能也只能是纸上谈兵。1992年经巴西大东公司牵线,在广东健力宝集团的支持下,将我们冲击2000年奥运会和2002年世界杯的骨干力量22人,送往巴西学习训练五年,这一举措具有长远的战略意义。
