贺州地区于 1997年 3月经国务院批准成立。现辖贺州市、钟山县、富川瑶族自治县和昭平县。总面积 1185 5平方公里 (占原梧州地区面积的 5 9 71% ) ;全地区共有 6 7个乡镇、 710个村委会 ,总人口 2 0 0多万人 ,居住有汉、瑶、壮、苗、回、侗、彝、水、仫佬、毛南、土家、布依等
Hezhou area in 1997 March by the State Council approved the establishment. Hezhou jurisdiction over, Zhongshan County, Bucheon Yao Autonomous County and Zhaoping County. The total area is 1185 5 km 2 (accounting for 59.7% of the original Wuzhou area). There are 67 townships and 710 village committees in the whole region, with a total population of more than 2 million. There are Han, Yao, Zhuang, Miao, Hui, Dong, Yi, water, Gelao, Mao Nan, Tujia, Buyi and so on
