吴忠县东塔公社东塔五队农技户王立德共种小麦(套玉米)2.31亩(标准亩),1982年实打2321斤,平均亩产1000斤;1983年实打2438斤,平均亩产1055.5斤。连续两年亩产超千斤,他的主要经验是:一,提早备耕,狠抓冬灌。该户土地是长年旱地,地势高,土质中壤,肥力中等。1982年套种玉米收获后秋翻3次,深度5寸左右,10月下旬冬灌2次,水量大,灌得透。1983年3月10日平地,12日春耕,深度4寸左右,耙2～3次,达到疏松多孔,通气良好,为小麦根系发育提供了良好条件。二、多施农家肥,氮磷配合,集中施足底肥。
