经济、经济学、政治经济学三个名词概念,在中国使用非常普遍,但对大多数人来说,它的内含与渊源以及演化过程并不十分清楚,尤其是经济学与政治经济学两个学科名词在学科内的关系不很明晰,我们往往习惯只从政治角度来区分它,这对我国经济学科的发展和普及经济知识极其不利。作为经济学者,有责任和义务对其做出必要的较通俗的解释。现代经济学是一个大学科,是科学,不是资产阶级专有的,无产阶级统治的国家也需要经济科学。政治经济学,也是科学,不是无产阶级专有的,资产阶级统治的国家也需要政治经济学。马克思主义政治经济学是政治经济学的一个分支,政治经济学是经济学的一个分支。二者,由同一走向分化、分级,终于“术有专攻”。
