种子干燥是确保种子丰产、丰收及种子质量的关键之一。过去种子靠太阳人工翻晒进行干燥,不仅时间长、劳力多,而且干湿不均,易造成种子混杂,使种子质量下降。如收获时遇连绵阴雨,不能及时翻晒,还会造成大量霉烂变质,不能保证当地的种子需用量。为此,中国农机院、上海市农机所、四川省农机所、四川永川通用机械厂和三台县农机修造厂共同研制成5HZ—3.2型种子干燥机,已于1981年11月通过新产品鉴定(部级)。该机主要用于干燥水稻、麦类种子,适于各地种子公司(站)或社、队作小麦、水稻种子的干燥用,也可用作商品粮的干燥。

To this end, China Agricultural Machinery Institute, Shanghai Agricultural Machinery Institute, Sichuan Agricultural Machinery Institute, Sichuan Yongchuan General Machinery Factory and Santai Agricultural Machinery Repair Factory jointly developed 5HZ-3.2-type seed dryer, in November 1981 passed the new product identification (Ministerial level). The machine is mainly used for drying rice, wheat seeds, suitable for all around the seed company (station) or clubs, the team for the drying of wheat, rice seeds can also be used as a commodity grain drying.
