The authors studied middle ear osmotole antibody in 100 children with chronic exudative otitis media (COME) and 13 with blue eardrum membrane (B ED), ages 1 to 11 years old. From 128 ears (COME114 ears and BED14 ears) by tympanotomy aspirate exudate, stored at -80 ℃ to be seized. The antigens were the Greer strain of adenovirus Type 7 Grider strain (grown in HEp-2 cells), Respiratory Syncytial (Rs) Long strain and Para2 strain (both cultivated in Vero cells).
