滚动轴承工作时,工作表面承受很大的交变应力和静载接触应力,所以轴承的表面质量将直接影响其使用寿命。由于轴承工作条件苛劣,因此除要求严格的形位公差外还必须保证其外观质量(如表面光洁度,有无碰卡划伤等)。轴承工作表面的划伤、碰卡伤等机械缺陷(以下统称“伤痕”),降低了工作表面的物理性能,由于伤痕部位金属的粘结,使轴承在使用中造成早期疲劳剥落,影响使用寿命。
