Serotonin is one of the protective agents for hematopoietic radiation injury. It can significantly increase the survival of CFU-S in irradiated animals. This article attempts to show whether serotonin also has protective effects on other stages of cells, how it behaves, whether it is effective only for cells that have not been damaged before the control, or whether it is also effective for injured cells. Each line is given 15 minutes before X-ray irradiation or immediately afterwards. (CBAxC57Bl) Fl mice were injected subcutaneously with serotonin 0.5 or 2.0 mg. After 3 to 20 days, the bone marrow nucleated cell count and spleen weight were checked and calculated within the 8th day.
