1958年春间,原第八军医学校化学系全体同志为响应劳动生产的号召,在原有药圃中辟地八畦,试种薄荷,并在试种过程中结合了科研工作。利用各种不同的施肥方法,栽培、收割后阴干,测定薄荷含油量来观察比较肥效,想借此寻找一种增高薄荷含油率的施肥方法。我们栽培的薄荷品种是中国薄荷(MenthaarvensisL),于四月中旬种苗,七月下旬花开后收割茎葉,阴干后采用一定量茎叶,根据氏法测定其含油量。试用七种施肥方法及对照试验所得结果均有差异,其中以施用混合肥者含油量最高,对照试验地(未施肥)最低。在各种施肥方法中,我们并采用了苏联先进经验
