目的了解我国儿童体格发育地区差异的某些规律和变化特点。方法对１９９５年进行的第三次九城市７岁以下儿童的体格发育调查资料进行分析，并与１９７５和１９８５年的两次调查资料进行对比研究。结果不同地区儿童的体格发育存在明显差异，仍为北和中片儿童的生长明显优于南片，排在前四位的是北京、上海、哈尔滨和南京。但是这种差异在２０年间，尤其近１０年中有逐渐缩小的趋势。结论儿童生长的地区差异仍持续存在，但正在逐渐缩小。
Objective To understand some regularities and changes in the differences of children’s physical development in our country. Methods The data of the physical development survey of the third children under 7 years old in nine cities in 1995 were analyzed and compared with the two surveys in 1975 and 1985. Results There was a significant difference in physical development among children in different regions. The growth of North and Middle children was still significantly better than that of South ones. The top four were Beijing, Shanghai, Harbin and Nanjing. However, this difference has been gradually decreasing in 20 years, especially in the past 10 years. Conclusion Regional differences in child growth persist, but are shrinking.
