今年3月14日上午,全国两会温总理记者招待会再度受到世人的高度关注。去年,也是3月14日,也是记者招待会,温总理在谈到经济问题时,深情地提到“穷人经济学”,认为懂得了穷人经济学就懂得了许多经济学原理。今年,温总理说:“我特别要强调一下平民教育问题……我们就是要使教育成为面向平民的教育,从而使人人都能受教育。”2004年本刊第9期摘发了《晏阳初:与爱因斯坦齐名的中国基督徒》一文,本期特约近代教育史研究者撰文再度对平民教育与晏阳初进行介绍。
