赵紫阳同志在党的十三大报告中指出:“社会主义社会的根本任务是发展生产力.在初级阶段,为了摆脱贫困和落后,尤其要把发展生产力作为全部工作的中心.”李鹏同志在七届人大所作的政府工作报告中也指出:“加快社会主义现代化建设,集中力量发展社会生产力,是社会主义社会尤其是社会主义初级阶段的中心任务.”很清楚,把发展生产力作为社会主义社会的根本任务,是贯串这两次会议文件的一条主线,也是我们加快和深化改革,扩大对外开放的重要指导思想.那么,提出“社会主义社会的根本任务是发展生产力”这一论断的依据是什么呢?笔者认为:
