为纪念徐悲鸿先生诞辰118周年(逝世60周年),2013年8月24日至26日,由中国人民大学徐悲鸿艺术研究院和中国人民大学艺术学院主办,徐悲鸿纪念馆、《美术》杂志社、《中华书画家》杂志社、江苏省徐悲鸿研究会协办的“全球化与民族化:21世纪的徐悲鸿研究及中国美术发展”国际学术研讨会在中国人民大学举行。此次会议旨在学理地、历史地梳理徐悲鸿的艺术成就并阐释其现当代意义。继承民族文化的优良传统,研究汲取东西方文化的优秀成果,以世界性的眼光提高对民族文化身份的认同,倡导东西方文化艺术的对话交流与借鉴,以推动中国美术的发展。
To commemorate the 118th anniversary of Mr. Xu Beihong’s birthday (60th anniversary of the death), hosted by Xu Beihong Art Research Institute of Renmin University of China and Renmin University of China School of Art, Xu Beihong Memorial, Art Magazine, Painter “magazine, Xu Beihong Research Association of Jiangsu Province,” Globalization and Nationalization: Xu Beihong 21st Century Research and Chinese Art Development "international symposium held at Renmin University of China. The conference aims to systematically and historically review Xu Beihong’s artistic achievements and explain its modern significance. Inherit the fine traditions of national culture, study the outstanding achievements of absorbing the eastern and western cultures, enhance the identification of national cultural identities with a global perspective, and promote dialogues and exchanges between Eastern and Western cultures and arts in order to promote the development of Chinese fine arts.
