每一种中草药均有其命名之意义和出处,这些命名多出自历代“本草”记载,它都有一种正名和几种别名,如人参,出自《神农本草经》,原名人(艹浸),李时珍曰:“人(艹浸)年深,浸浸长成者,根如人形,有神,故谓之人(艹浸)——后世因字文繁,遂以参星之字代之。”沿用日久,约定俗成,人参即成为正名,其别名尚有神草、土精、鬼盖、人衔等,也都有一定的取名含义。兹根据各药常见命名试谈如下。 1 从气味、形态、颜色之特点而命名
