An increasing number of trials have shown that interferon is produced in normal human tissues that apparently lack known inducing agents. This endogenous interferon may play a physiological role in the body’s resistance to viruses, regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation. Alveolar surface area of the human body is the largest, and long-term exposure to the outer ring
