Hospital infection is a prominent problem faced by modern hospital management. Its importance can be reflected in several aspects such as endangering the health of the population, excessive consumption of resources, affecting the quality of medical care, and interference with benefits. In order to strengthen the administration of hospital infections by the health administrative department, the Bureau organized relevant professionals to conduct random inspections of the hospital infection management of various medical institutions from January to March 1999 and analyzed the results.
