Based on the available inter-survey interpolation literature, this paper presents the latest estimates of poverty rates where official estimates are considered obsolete. To this end, the Labor Force Survey (LFS) is interpolated from household expenditure data in a model that had been estimated using the Household Expenditure Survey (HES). In an application example for Morocco (the country’s latest official poverty rate data from 2007), estimates of poverty rates for all years (and quarters) from 2001 to 2009 were obtained.
